Cranston continues to be a community leader, supporting local charitable efforts and uniting the talent of quilters, crafters and sewers toward helping the less fortunate, expressing gratitude and appreciation to those who have performed acts of kindness and generosity and bringing the world closer together through creativity and caring.

As a company, Cranston funds and operates the charitable Cranston Foundation which supports a wide range of educational institutions, museums, libraries, hospitals, social services agencies and the United Way. The Cranston Foundation has contributed in excess of $7.5 million since 1960; with over $2.5 million in scholarships. The Godfrey S. Rockefeller Memorial Scholarship has provided $250,000 in scholarships since 1983.

Today, the Textile Group operates from two distinct locations,  New York City with Design, Sales and Executive offices and Cranston, Rhode Island, with Customer Service, Marketing, Supply Chain and Executive offices.
