Cranston is committed to honoring our American heroes, the firefighters and police. In the wake of 9/11 Cranston continues to build awareness of their bravery and commitment in conjunction with the Bravest Fund. Show your appreciation to your local fire department or police station with the creativity of quilting.
Cranston is committed to raising awareness of at-risk babies in America. Cranston has united quilters in a continuing effort to provide abandoned children, children born HIV-positive and children born to mothers afflicted with alochol and drug abuse with the comfort of handmade quilts. Help ABC Quilts provide at-risk babies with the comfort of handmade quilts.
Cranston is committed to respecting the environment in all decisions addressing environmental issues and achieving high "green" standards in all operations. We are continuously active in energy and water conservation, recycling, employee training and employee safety. We take pride in providing our employees with a healthy, safe work environment and support local and national environmental groups. Cranston has achieved outstanding success in water use reduction, recycling, energy efficiencies and development of state of the art treatment facilities. The efforts of the Cranston Water Conservation Team were recently recognized by the State of Massachusetts for results achieved in water conservation and water re-use and for leadership in sharing those results with other Massachusetts companies.
