Cranston hosts these forums for the benefit of all the users of the Cranston Village site, and we want to be sure it is as enjoyable an experience as possible. In general, we expect our visitors will respect the dignity and sensibilities of all our Members and we provide the following Community Guidelines as a short summary of your responsibilities under the Terms of Use as they relate to your use of the Village Forums:

Membership in the Forum is restricted to those age 13 years or older. If you are not yet 13, please do not register for the Forum.

Postings are expected to maintain civil discourse and be free of vulgar or otherwise offensive language, including that which is abusive, defamatory, hateful, discriminatory, or intended to impersonate any other person.

Posters agree that their posts will not infringe on the legal rights of others including copyrights and the rights of publicity or privacy, and they agree to place any postings or other submissions in the public domain and grant Cranston the royalty-free right to publish them.

Posting is not intended for commercial use. Patently promotional postings are a violation of these Guidelines. However, objective reviews of products and services, and referrals to sources of difficult-to-find items, especially in the Fabric Swap section are welcome and encouraged.

Postings from third parties do not reflect Cranston's views. We do not monitor or otherwise view postings prior to their appearance in the Forum, and so take no responsibility for the content published. You have agreed that you read these postings at your own risk. We do reserve the right to delete any posting which in our sole judgment violates the Terms of Use.
